I had posted this link earlier, but missed the money quote. Rachel Maddow didn't, and brought it out on her show tonight. The Treasury Financial Crimes Enforcement Unit, established after 9/11 to find and freeze Al Qaeda's money, which now specializes in targeting money laundering, is turning financial records over to the Senate Intel Committee. Per the WSJ:

"People familiar with the matter didn't specify the nature of these records."

"One person said that without them, though, the committee wouldn't be able to reach a conclusion on whether there had been collusion between Trump associates and Russia during last year's campaign." Read that again. What does that mean, exactly?

"The Senate intelligence panel's request was made because investigators, who have been reviewing U.S. intelligence reports about Russian interference in the 2016 election, came across information which led them to inquire about Mr. Trump's business ties."

"A former senior U.S. official indicated that federal investigators are examining whether Russian in any of Mr. Trump's properties or business ventures could be traced back to Russian government sources, including Russian officials who might own banks that were lending money to Mr. Trump."

"It marks an escalation for the committee's probe from its original focus on intelligence reports that were used to conclude that Russia had meddled in the 2016 election."

Holy Shit. They're following the money, and this group really knows how to do that.

Not a big deal. That's all my post was intended to be. A nudge. Cis decided to make a thing of it.

Because -- and you still don't get this, and still won't after this explanation -- he's already been called out for that. When you, the overlord of obtuse, mentioned it, it should have been a sad panda moment.

But it won't be. That's what makes this thread great.

You are incorrect. You are also trying to blow up something small to make it big. Can't gain the board popularity you crave with posting skill, so you hope jumping on me will get you there?

That's the way he's gonna go down, if it happens. Tune out all the noise, the tweets, the bullshit.

The one person we haven't heard from yet is a private citizen who should be singing like Harry Styles.

The moment impeachment becomes possible is when pro-Pence pressure surpasses pro-Trump pressure. Very little partial pressures on either side, must admit.

Somebody is going to decide to be the first to flip and make the best deal he can... if it hasn't already happened.

I keep hearing rumbles of FISA warrants, which would be expected, and RICO warrants, which are going to be huge if they're really out there.
