So how smart is offering Merrick Garland the FBI job? Trump could replace him on the second highest court in the land, then fire him for anything or nothing.

Trump would never ever do it, because there's a non-zero chance that the first thing Garland would do would be to order Fucko to be hauled into custody in shackles on any number of a dozen possible felony charges.

Sure, the chances are 98% he wouldn't. But Fucko can't take the 2% chance that he would.

The whole idea is just a crazy diversion. Hey, maybe he'll name Michael Moore Surgeon General!

He'll name some reliable right wing flunky to run the FBI. A poodle who will do his bidding, just as he does for Putin.
