Trump-induced paranoia is a pretty good hustle, but only genuine paranoids seem to be taking it up.

[IMG] This ambassadorship is more of a joke than Barry's appointment of the late Dan Rooney to Ireland.

So Rep. Dave Brat (R-Va.) refused to comment on the Trumpcare bill to the Richmond Times-Dispatch unless he was given "three unedited paragraphs" in the story. Offer declined, thank goodness. What a brave man.

I knew I should have chatted him up at Wal-Mart the other day!

He has like 98 percent support among people who voted for him. Trump isn't going down because he loses support among his voters. He's going down when Bernie bros and others of their ilk find someone to rally around and show up again, instead of sitting at home and continuing to pout.

I agree. His core supporters are the ones holding torches at the R.E. Lee Statue yelling we love Russia. The Resistance needs leader or at least point person. Preferably a white male from anywhere but the NorthEast Corridor and California. Honestly, the Dems need to peel away about 20% of his support and getting all the Independents is not going to happen. Someone needs to go to Kentucky, Ohio, Western Pa and show on a daily basis that Trump is failing them.

NBC/WSJ poll and Quinnipiac poll both show Trump losing some support from his voters. Independents break about 2-1 against him now. He is not popular. He wasn't popular before he was President, either, but neither was his opponent. Now he's President, and Presidents get blamed for things. If Trump were to lose 20 percent of his voters, he'd get 37 percent of the vote, less than McGovern or Goldwater.

Who is a potential opponent, though? No one from the Democratic side. And I have a bad feeling that you are going to have two Republicans, at least - probably Rubio and Cruz, the sequel - trying to primary him and, again, handing him the nomination
