Pribus probably did know. Bannon? Jared? Ivanka? No.

But if somebody won't listen to solid advice ...

It's like the Cthulhu of politics. Our frame of references just can't grasp what we're dealing with, it's too foreign.

Nixon resigning in disgrace is the gold standard for a Presidency gone wrong. Trump is accused of doing *precisely* what got Nixon forced to resign, and it isn't even the worst thing he's been credibly accused of in the last 36 hours. And this isn't necessarily a lock for top-5 worst weeks he's had going back to the campaign.

It won't matter until House seats start dropping. When Montana and Georgia turn out just like Kansas (closer than normal but still Republican wins), they'll unclench a little and Trump will cruise through this.

They're asshats, know nothings, and the ones who did actually know better and see it coming can't get Trump to shut up and follow advice. The really smart people who *might* have been able to avert the train wreck took one look and ran like hell.

If he's impeached and "wins", he'll be even more insufferable than he is already.

This'll be the congressional investigations when the Dems take back over:

Rick, this ain't going away. The former director of the FBI is going to appear on national TV and under oath declare the President and engaged in crimes. That'll leave a mark.
