Through the grapevine, I hear one's bed was too hard, one's was too soft, but the third said it was just right.

 

It would have been defcon 2 at most media outlets.

There isn't any question that, right now, the media's as good as it's been in some time. All the way woke, working sources, definitely not complacent.

And that's because Trump is offensive to their sensibilities in ways that no other recent president has been or probably will be. He's a bad president with bad ideas and etc, etc, etc. All that is true. But, more than that, he's offensive. He's crude and uncultured and a blowhard, and that is offensive to the kinds of people who matriculate to the media that covers the presidency.
