Yellow sauce is an underrated gem. Unfortunately the best example of it came from a guy who was a stone racist, as in slavery apologetics literature in the lobby of his restaurants.

Can a S.C. barbecue family rise above their father’s history of racism?

Still, you can Google recipies for "Piggy Park Yellow Sauce" and get on the right track. If you just want to buy a bottle and not make your own sauce, this is pretty good.

Two things: Wild story, and I should have gone into barbecue journalism.

I heard about this stuff on BBQ With Franklin and it sounds disgusting. Mayonnaise covered chicken?

It's great, and I'm someone who ordinarily can't stand mayo. Very thin and tangy, none of the mayo texture.

It's pretty good when I use it to make chicken in the crockpot. It's REALLY good on the grill.

Marinate the chicken in Big Bob's white sauce and throw it on the grill. Great stuff. It's from my hometown, so I grew up on the stuff. And the red sauce is good, too. My favorite to get at BBG is a potato stuffed with smoked turkey, cheese, butter, bacon bits, pickles.

When was the last time a mustard-based sauce won the championship in Memphis? That's right. It's never fucking happened. Mustard-based sauces are for fucking communists.

I've seen it called "Alabama sauce," as well. My wife loves it on chicken.
