“Love your shoes. Boy, those shoes. Man.”

President Trump praised Egypt’s president as “my friend” and took special notice of his footwear.

In a meeting with Abdel Fattah el-Sisi, Trump gushed over his dress shoes.

“Love your shoes. Boy, those shoes. Man,” Trump said.

This is really going to be a heavy lift for the Trump administration. These nominees are usually out there pushing the President's agenda and handling all the detail work. Finding high end, competent people who are willing to board the Titanic after the iceberg will be difficult.

Eventually the rules have to apply when it comes to Trump, right?

    Right?

Oh, I'm certainly not saying many ND grads don't suck. And many are d-bags.

But that degree is gonna go long way.

I hear ya. Our guy, though, just wanted to watch TV games and talk sports all day.

Wonder if this old joke could also apply to Notre Dame types ...

One fall Saturday morning in Durham, NC, a board of directors was having a meeting. Outside, the Duke band marched by on its way to Wallace Wade Stadium. The chairman of the board asked for a moment's pause "in honor of the most religious people in the world." When someone looked at him quizzically, he said, "Oh yeah, they worship one another."

Notre Dame ain't the Ivy League, and no matter how much of a boutique degree you have, if disagreement causes you to run away, no piece of paper is going to make your life easy.
