He fires the FBI Director for investigating it. Tells two others to proclaim his innocence.
If you're innocent, you don't need to do any of that. You wait for the process to play itself out and exonerate you.

See Stewart, Potter, Paris Adult Theatre v. Slaton.

Really? Despite being uncooperative wth investigators, Hillary Clinton was sure looking for an exoneration prior to the election, and her supporters were demanding that the FBI either clear her or charge her.

Why is it odd that Trump wouldn't want a long running investigation hanging over his head?

It's not. But firing the head of the probe and exceptional arm twisting suggest consciousness of guilt.

Nope. That's ok, nothing wrong with my hoping that all the internecine warfare and "Trump is going to shake up the WH staff" might have resulted in Priebus getting booted home. It was pure speculation on my part.

There's a lot of Mensch that is pure over the top self promotion, trolling for clicks and donations. She has also been right on several things, out in front of the MSM, because she's risking putting it up on her site without the sort of sourcing that a hard news site's legal staff would require before allowing it to go to print.

She's looked like an idiot. She's been caught back editing posts to refine/correct the details. She is who she is. There are others in that twitter group who are a bit more reliable. They get some things right and others badly wrong. You also get crowdsourced news and opinion... people have their own areas of expertise that they contribute, friends with an insight to talk to, computer expertise to back track IP's, accounting knowledge to pick through shell companies and accounting legerdemain. There is some wheat among the chaff... and it's often entertaining. There are some seriously funny memes and smartass commentary.

Really? Really? For fuck's sake. I'm not sure where the line is drawn, but that fucking place should never be allowed in.

And there's the small matter of Donald Trump earning no benefit of the doubt whatsoever through a lifetime of self-serving deception.

Hell, I'd write off the lifetime part. The sheer number of lies that he's been caught in since he began to formally campaign leaves him completely unworthy of trust or the benefit of a doubt.

Right. But, deleting thousands of emails, using bleach bit to wipe the server, destroyed blackberries, the IT taking the Fifth, and turning over printed hard copies of emails, instead of a file, don't suggest consciousness of guilt, right?
