A whole lot of evangelicals who fervently believe in the end times as described by Revelation nonetheless live out their lives as though they expect to be here for the duration and certainly aren't looking to trigger the apocalypse (which they would regard as impossible hubris, seeing as the timing is up to God alone.) Ask any deacon who drew the short straw and is stuck on the building fund committee, and they'll tell you they're very much focused on getting people to focus on earthly obligations and not just wait around for the rapture.

I find Mike Pence repulsive on the merits, but if people want to bag on all Christians or all evangelicals because they find their beliefs off-putting, go ahead and miss me with that. No better than YF's anti-Muslim bleatings.

 

The Trump administration ages everything in dog years. Memes, staffers, etc. Everything has 1/7 the normal shelf life.
