Not true. Area around Frederick is pretty. Get past Cumberland into the Deep Creek Lake area and it's downright gorgeous.

 

The tallest mountain in Maryland is about 5,000 feet. That must have been a candy-assed SUV.

 

He's also single.

 

Compact SUV. My guess is you drive a really big truck.

 

Scenery outside the cities isn't the problem in Western Maryland.

 

We have a mountain out there, with complete signage and altitude, called Negro Mountain.

Tends to piss some people off. There is history of why it has that name, but I suspect, like the Confederate statues, this whole mountain needs to be removed.

 

Also, to the previous photos. Dayum!!!

 

The coal mining companies will at least be ripping the top off of it soon.
