Laughable to think that Belichick would sign Kapernick. I would love to hear you ask that to Belichick in a press conference.

The problem with Kaepernick is he would need a coach with the pull and security of Belichick to want him. Unfortunate for Colin, those coaches typically have solid quarterbacks already - the ones you don't already are either too new or on their way out.
Problem with quarterbacks in the NFL - you're either making $16 mil or more, or less than $4 mill. Kaepernick might be worth $8 mil with a chance to win a starting job with the Jets, or Buffalo or the Browns - but their coaches have bigger worries.

Pretty certain I was not responding to your comment. I dunno, this was weeks ago and I'm not doing a post-opt at this point

The Jets QB corps right now is Josh McCown, Bryce Petty, Christian Hackenberg and Dane Evans. What "bigger worry" does the coach have?

I feel bad for Bowles. I always figure every coach deserves to bring in one quarterback as "their guy" to sink or swim with. He's been handcuffed the entire time. I don't think he has the juice to bring in anyone at this point.

Yeah, Bowles is dead man walking. It's unfortunate. That was a terrible first head coaching gig, but I guess you take what you can get.

I don't care that you can't stick to something you said three weeks ago, CD Boogie.
