That's not ok, period. That kind of thing gets people killed. Even if this guy is safely out of Iran, people in totalitarian states who are not trusted are followed and kept under surveillance. Records are kept of where they go and who their contacts are. Their sources and other agents in place are put at risk by publishing his name. Totally innocent people are at risk of arrest and torture simply because he liked their shop for coffee and pastry or something similar. This is the height of arrogant irresponsibility. That was true when it was done to Valerie Plame, and it remains true with regard to Mr. D'andrea.
