    Whenever I hear him now (including at this moment), it makes me think of an elementary school kid who hasn't read the book, doing an oral book report.

    That's what one of my good friends from college, a guy who leans left but isn't a True Believer, said early in the campaign, and it has stuck with me ever since. I believe how he put it was that, "Whenever I hear him answer a question, it reminds me of high school when I was asked a question in class and absolutely did not know the answer."
