    I think it's an interesting look into how the president thinks and interacts. But no smoking gun whatsoever.

    The President began by asking me whether I wanted to stay on as FBI
    Director, which I found strange because he had already told me twice in earlier conversations that he hoped I would stay, and I had assured him that I intended to. He said that lots of people wanted my job and, given the abuse I had taken during the previous year, he would understand if I wanted to walk away.

    Our president is that guy from the Tax Act commercials.

    No, not at all. But it is suggestive when combined with the refusal of Coats and Rogers to answer whether Trump asked them to influence the investigation, since if their answer was "no," there was no reason to be shy.

    Also, who in their right mind brings up the phrase "hookers in Russia" to the head of the FBI even to deny you met any?
