I wonder how much of a ratings bump ABC gets this morning from people like me who turned the TV off after Warriors-Cavs last night.

I'm glad nobody's made the joke that Oklahoma elected Randy Travis senator.

 

Every time Comey says he can't discuss something in open session, isn't that a de facto "Yeah, that's what happened?"

If Kamala Harris wants to run for president, she's going to have to learn not to butcher a punchline.

 

No. It's probably more that he's trying to avoid saying anything that either side can latch onto during a public hearing. Would turn his testimony into a circus.

 

"Mr. President. You cleared the room of witnesses then asked the director of the FBI to stop an investigation into your friends and associates, then fired him for refusing to do so."

Watergate created lots of famous people, but did any politician ever gain added fame through the series of hearings? Only one I can think of is maybe Howard Baker.
