Why is that any different than people running or going to the gym in the morning?

 

One dude getting in a jog at a Planet Fitness is a little different than organizing 30 grown adults for a practice.

 

I'm pretty sure most of this board doesn't exactly consider that a typical day at the office, either.

 

Shit like this happens, and I always think of The Who:

Rand Paul says he heard 50 or 60 shots. Amazing that more weren't hit. Gotta be politically motivated, right? But I'm still confused -- and relieved -- as to why or how more weren't hit or how Scalise was hit only once.

As is often the case in these things, conflicting reports abound. Fox reports hip wound. Post says chest. Both may be (half) right.

 

Fox is also reporting through Sen. Mike Lee that the gunman is dead.

 

GOP Rep says he left before shooting. Guy approached him asking who was practicing: Dems or GOP.

 

It's not rec league. It's for the Congressional Baseball Game at the Nationals stadium. It's a pretty big deal and lots of Congressmen take it very seriously.

 

At least they take something seriously while they're in town.
