President Trump: The NEW one and only politics thread

What's hilarious about it.

He never asked for praise.

It was the first cabinet meeting with the whole cabinet. He asked each member to introduce themselves, and to say a few words, which is what they did.

Some chose to offer praise to Trump as a part of their status report/update.

But, what was described by Michael Gee and others simply didn't happen.

 

Democrat and Republican baseball teams to dine together tonight to dine together tonight to get to know each other and in the spirit of bipartianship.

Then they'll all join hands and sing "Take Me Out to the Ballgame," followed by "Kumbayah," work together on important legislation and ... dammit, I picked the wrong week to stop drinking.

 

The top Trump defender on here typing "words matter" is hilarious.

 

So, you want to mock me, but choose to ignore Gee's falsehood?

Why does he not get held to the same standard?

Like I said, I'm catching up. Skimmed a lot. Don't really care what Gee says on most things, really. That just struck me.

But for the record I think the President's words should matter much more than Gee's. But we've been told how many times now that his words aren't that important?
