    These fuckers lie.

He claims to have had a WH source, but when his info turns out to be wrong, he blames the WH pool reporter.

So, who was the original "source", if not the pool reporter?

Let's all remember this the next time we question CNN and other media's "White House sources".

Look at the time stamps. Are you sure you didn't get this backwards?

Now, how about this tweet, from a WaPo White house reporter, which led many to mock Trump for bringing his "personal" physician:

The "personal physician" wasn't his kooky NYC doctor, which the tweet led people to believe, but Rear Admiral Ronny L. Jackson, Physician to the President.

She makes it a little clearer in her article, so why the misleading tweet?

Trump and First Lady Melania Trump arrived at the hospital at around 8:40 p.m. on Wednesday night, bringing with them bouquets of flowers for the shooting victims. They were accompanied by the White House physician Ronny Jackson.

Baseball shooter reportedly used an SKS, not an AR. FWIW.

I can't imagine why Trump would have this guy accompany him:

In 2005 he joined the 2nd Marines, Combat Logistics Regiment 25, in Camp Lejeune, North Carolina. From there he deployed in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom as the emergency medicine physician in charge of resuscitative medicine for a forward deployed Surgical Shock Trauma Platoon in Taqaddum, Iraq.

He's pretty inexperienced on Twitter, so cut him some slack.

He's blaming the error on the pooler:

So what exactly are you #madonline about here? That he relied on a pool report? Do you understand why it wouldn't do for half the Washington press corps to be hanging out in the hospital lobby?

Why isn't he blaming his mistake on a bad WH source? His tweet implied that he got the info from a WH official, not a colleague in the press pool.

He lied. He pretended he had inside info.

He was wrong, and then he had to admit he was relying on a pooler, who got it wrong.

    Fuck him. Fake news:

Yeah, I saw that. I used AR as an example because that's become pretty standard for U.S. gun owners who want a military type CQB weapon. Functionally not too very much difference. SKS is similar to the U.S. M1 rifle. It was a standard communist bloc infantry automatic rifle. If it is as issued, it has a wooden stock which makes is less "scary looking". If it has aftermarket gear added it can look like a fairly generic assault rifle. Same basic deal, a semi-automatic 7.62. The biggest difference is that it has an internal magazine which is fed using ten round stripper clips, so it won't have a high magazine capacity. It is still pretty quick to reload if you are familiar with it.

He attributed the info as the pool report indicated - to a SAO. I guess he could have said "Sean Spicer said Trump didn't go into the hospital room."

I'd guess because he is the White House doctor, and he can answer any questions Trump might have about the congressman's wounds. It's not like he was going to roll up his sleeves and start putting in sutures.
