Little hard to follow the day's highlights when every team is dressed like Columbia University.

The NL West has three of the top four records in baseball. That's amazing enough this far into the season. But the Diamondbacks and Rockies? Where'd that come from?

They all get to play the Giants.

At the 2016 All-Star break the Giants had the best record in the majors at 57-33 (.633). Since then they are 56-87 (.392).

I get the blue uniforms, Father's Day, prostate cancer awareness, etc. A good cause.

But changing the stitches on the baseballs to light blue? That's no good. Makes it a lot harder to see the ball at the plate and in the field on a bright, sunshine day with a blue sky.

Next year, just stick with the red stitches.

I get you are making a point but do you have to quantify my suffering?

On the bright side, Miguel Sano bounced back from TJ surgery. If you're good, you're good.

The downside is that it delays his arrival, and it prolongs Chase Headley's ineptitude.
