Dave Weigel of the Post says he talked to a Republican strategist who has a plan for campaigning in 2018 against Obamacare even if Republicans pass a replacement. Nobody shows more contempt for Republican voters than the Republicans who seek their votes.

The White House did not make today's briefing (by Sarah Huckabee Sanders, no less) available for live audio or video. What's preventing the networks from saying "Eff you, it's the people's business, they have a right to know what's going on, we're showing it anyway"?

I would hate to see how bad healthcare would be out in the sticks if these Senate Medicaid cuts go through (or if they revise it to slash it even more). A lot of rural hospitals are barely making it as is on the current Medicaid payment plan.

The words "slash" and "massive" and the phrase "the rich" all have to appear if the author wants full credit.

Given his track record, I think a more apt illustration might be DT shooting free throws vs. Shaq.
