I would have thought the multiple spelling and grammatical errors would have been the first hint heyabbott is lying.

They had newspaper publishers quite willing to do that for them.

Are we just going to keep spelling her name wrong?

And, who do you think is owed an apology? @heyabbott? You've got to be kidding.

I don't even believe his story. It's absurd.

The truth means nothing to heyabbot. He lies constantly. He knew Chao wasn't a Korean mail order bride when he said it. He's said it before, and been corrected.

It was a lie. Why would I believe this story from him?

No wonder she was shocked and upset when little Abbott found her address. That must have taken sone sleuthing.

    Jane Sanders-
“My family had a lake home in Maine since 1900, but we hadn’t had the time to go there in recent years — especially since my parents passed away,” she said to Seven Days. “We finally let go of it and that enabled us to buy a place in the islands — something I’ve always hoped for. ”
However, to CTV, Jane gave a more complicated story. She said “she sold her share of her family’s long-time vacation home in Bridgton, Maine, to her brother for $150,000, added some money from her retirement account and from an advance her husband got on a book he is writing to come up with the money to buy the couple’s third home,” CTV said, adding that the Sanders paid cash for the house.

lakefront-I also "own" 3 homes--2 1/2 actually, one is seasonal. I am not rich-at all. Also don't most politicians have a home in D.C. along with their home state home? I also don't see it covered in gold like trumps. In other words, not extravagant.

This is a running, racist joke on @heyabbott's behalf:

You take a couple of bucks from here, a couple of bucks from there, and before you know it, you've got $575,000 for a lake house.

Not bad for a couple of socialists.

Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) is the proud new owner of a summer home in the Champlain Islands, Seven Days has confirmed.

The Burlington resident last week plopped down nearly $600,000 on a lakefront camp in North Hero.

Sanders’ new crib has four bedrooms and 500 feet of Lake Champlain beachfront on the east side of the island — facing Vermont, not New York. The Bern will keep his home in Burlington and use the new camp seasonally.
    ...
The Sanders also own a row house on Capitol Hill in Washington, D.C., and a house in Burlington’s New North End.

    1. Why are you presuming yab's story to be true? His history here hardly warrants such deference.

    2. Why would YF owe an apology even if it were true? He correctly criticized yab's false (and racist) description of her as a mail order bride. Is the validity of that criticism somehow changed if she didn't respond to some letter in a satisfactorily-pleasing manner?
