Presaging his legendary role in The Postman, of course.

Assume this story is fake, but it nonetheless reminds me of this Noel Gallagher quote

Kind of reminds me of the whole, "This is what Phish sounds like to people who don't like Phish" gag:

What about the death of the electric keytar? That's the bigger tragedy.

Why does everyone keep spelling "Sonic Youth" wrong?

The drumitar still lives, though. Futureman, percussionist for Bela Fleck and the Flecktones, with his home made instrument. Hold till about 1:42 when he blends it with his actual drum kit, as he does all through the show.

I'll throw in Victor Wooten, who also plays with Bela Fleck, one of the best bassists working. Roy "Futureman" Wooten is his brother.

This is not particularly elaborate (for him), but it gives you an idea of what he can do on a bass guitar.

If you want to check out an incredible bassist, check out this entire set from 2007, when she was just 2007.

The best part is that Beck really features her, witch is pretty unusual for a bass player.

These things happen in threes. Sorry.
