    There was a time when the trumpet player and or the sax player were the coolest musicians in the band.

    Had they each been born 25 years than they were, and believe me, they were pretty famous in their own time as it was, Django and Charlie Christian would've been beyond guitar hero into guitar mythical being.

    Charlie Christian is not remembered as well as he should be.
    But Django is still very well known and celebrated.
