LOL. He promised impossible things on healthcare?

No one should be allowed to get away with that.

You don't think that Obama's policies led to thousands of unaccompanied minors coming here?

It was in all the papers.

    Weird.

It's almost like something happened after 2011 which forced the Iraqis to reconsider .... maybe the loss of a large portion of their country to terrorists.

    I don't know.

But I do know that in 2008, George Bush signed a statue of forces agreement that said Iraqi forces are ready to stand on their own, and America is getting out.

No amount of radio spin makes the shitshow we call Iraq not the failure of the Bush administration.

And to offer that up as an argument to make voting for a know-nothing con artist for President a well-reasoned choice?

    Please.

Seems I also remember some pro-immigration people calling Obama "The Deporter in Chief."

Iraq was willing to sign a new agreement. Obama insisted it be approved by Iraq's parliament. But you knew that.

Whatever you think of the original decision to invade Iraq, there's no denying that Obama fucked up. He was determined to get out, regardless of the cost.

He got out, and the cost has been enormous. Thousands are dead. ISIS rules much of the area. We've had to put more troops back in there. And, of course our allies, including the Sunnis who fought with us, will never trust us again.

If Iraq was willing to sign a better agreement, why did George Bush sign an agreement setting a specific withdraw date?

Request for defense of Trump immediately leads to ignoring Trump in favor of complaining about Obama. The only surprise being that it is him and not a Clinton filling the role of "look over there!"

Trump is great for the America most of us didn't want to accept as the "real" America.

But that's who we are as a country. We'd be smart to stop trying to insist we're any better than that.
