Running 2017 MLB regular season thread

How can I be so stupid?

 

NFL players.

 

It's all got to be 21st century players with the exception of Jerry Rice and Brett Favre. Salaries just weren't that high, even in the first decade of free agency in the '90s. Almost all QBs, too. Both Mannings, Brady, Brees, Rodgers, maybe even Luck by now.

They'd only pay me $10 to watch all that baseball?

Not nearly enough.

 

I hardly watch teevee and most of the time it's MLB Network. Would be cool to read something by someone who spent every waking hour watching MLB every day for a year straight. It would be like that Twilight Zone where the guy would get rich if he didn't say a single word for a year at the end of which he could never speat again because he hadn't exercised his voice muscles.

 

I think it was during the first year of the MLB Network, they had something called the Fan Cave (?) where two guys watched every MLB game for the entire season. They did something like that for two or three years. Never heard of any of those guys again.

 

I think he severed his vocal cords.

 

That's what you get for beaning a guy on the knee, Treinen. Lol.

 

Make a god damn trade for two bullpen arms.
