Gotta be something in the water in the Fox executive cafeteria.

I don't know anything about anything, but the timing is interesting. Times story says Fox had been investigating his conduct for less than a week, which means it started right after the layoffs.

Stealing from the Jen Bielema playbook.

Didn't realize Mandel and Feldman were among the cuts. Very, very dumb move considering Fox's CFB investment - were they going to rely on Clay Travis? Yeesh. Double-yeesh considering Fox doesn't have any SEC games.

As someone who as done a lot of these investigations, that is super fast to decide to terminate someone in a C-suite. My guess is that the allegations are pretty ugly.

Horowitz wanted all the writers out.

    Maybe Mandel will be rehired.

I think Travis' race-baiting, SEC-loving site is now free of the Fox hosting platform.

Given the troubles with Ailes and O'Reilly, Fox is probably not inclined to give anyone the benefit of the doubt. What's kind of crazy to think about: If this had happened a week or two ago, do the layoffs still happen? I know that news came down in-house in January, but a new person at the top might have gone a different route. Must be a weird headspace today for the people who were caught up in that.

Per their podcast, Mandel and Feldman were under contract. Feldman's ran out a bit ago, Mandel's pretty recently (or soon?). So they woulda been unaffected.
