Feldman remains with Fox as on-air sideline reporter in Big 12 games.

So who was Horowitz harassing? Bayless? Whitlock? Both?

Regardless, I'm sure it fit in well with the corporate culture.

As fascinating as the timing of what happened with the web stuff is....

What's really interesting now is the TV side.

The new person who comes in will have to make a decision to continue 'embrace debate' or not.

And what about those huge deals made for Bayless, Herd, etc. ?

It's like a new general manager coming into a team hamstrung by aging veterans with monster contracts.

Sexual harassment, like mass layoffs, is not new to FOXsports.com.

If I'm a soulless Fox television executive, I'd honestly try Bayless, Whitlock and Cowherd as political commentators on Fox News. I think they'd get more bang for their buck and all three would score well with the average Fox News viewer. It'd be a minor adjustment for all three. They're already working those dog whistles. Put them on a network where they'll be appreciated.

    I'm 100 percent serious.

I almost think the contracts they have dictates who the next person will be. You're paying out those contracts either way, so you might as well hire someone who sees the value in them and that kind of programming.*

The impression I've always had of Cowherd is he works hard - perhaps too hard - and at least will put in the time, even if the product isn't something I care for much.

I have no idea what you do with Bayless.

I'd see what happens with the numbers. Fox is financially committed, so they might as well try to maximize their value. I think Horowitz's problem was that he was so committed to the debate shows, he obliterated anything else within the network that might draw more eyeballs. Figure a new person might not re-air the shows as much. Make more use of Fox's stable of analyst, better use of Nolan and maybe add a show that is "fan-centered." Think some combo of "Beer Money" that airs in several markets and Let's Make a Deal - where fans can win prizes like tickets to the Series, Augusta and the Super Bowl. A sports trivia show that is a little dumbed down. Hell, just bring back Sports Challenge - but the bonus round requires making free throws, throwing x number of strikes or kicking a field goal.

What's going on with Katie Nolan? That's one of the weird head shakers for me.
