I don't agree with the way CNN handled this. Agreed.

And while the stupid meme was against a corporate logo, the threats against journalists it inspired, that Trump has inspired, are real and troubling.

None of this happens if Trump wasn't such a thin-skinned jerk who values revenge and money above all else.

There's no evidence he had anything to do with the Lindbergh kidnapping

Anti-Trump: But there's no evidence he didn't so let's investigate.

Could be reading this wrong, but is this an endorsement of journalists being threatened?

If so, it's a pretty bad, either as a serious thing or a joke.

If I'm just not getting it, apologies.

Pro-Trump comments: Trump was seen buying ladders the day before the Lindbergh kidnapping, but that isn't reason to investigate Trump

It's an endorsement of your belief that journalists can set aside standards if the president is enough of a poopyhead.

A command I'm sure you heard frequently in your visits to the Studio 54 stalls.

Being critical of anyone on the national stage could be seen as a call to violence.

I'm not concerned with how Trump's tweet she might incite violence. I'm concerned with those who installed him using a continual gaslighting campaign to undermine society in order to hold onto power, which includes attacking anyone who might expose their malfeasance as uncredible, especially the press.
