In a statement on Sunday, Donald Trump Jr. said he had met with the Russian lawyer at the request of an acquaintance. “After pleasantries were exchanged,” he said, “the woman stated that she had information that individuals connected to Russia were funding the Democratic National Committee and supporting Ms. Clinton. Her statements were vague, ambiguous and made no sense. No details or supporting information was provided or even offered. It quickly became clear that she had no meaningful information.”

All the cases of Russian Meeting Amnesia among Trump campaign officials is astounding. It's like they didn't want anyone to know they were colluding, er, meeting with the Russians.

Don Jr. going to a meeting thinking he might get info from a foreign country in an attempt to influence an election seems a lot like collusion.

Or hey, maybe Don Jr. took the meeting honestly thinking it's about something else, something innocent. When a foreign person says they have dirt on a presidential candidate, even if it's not accurate, is there not a duty to report that incident to the FBI or CIA?

Mueller seems to be getting more to investigate by the hour.

 

By definition, a sovereign citizen would not have registered in the first place. They don't even get driver's licenses.

 

So, Don Jr. taking a meeting in which he might receive some information is bad.

But Dems hiring a former British spy, who outsources much of his work to Russian nationals, to provide opposition research is totally ok.

And, the media running the paid for, but unverified, research is also totally fine.

Yeah. That makes perfect sense.
