2017 Pro Wrestling Thread

Last time they did a title switch at a house show, as I recall (not counting Hardcore titles that switched around during the show) was the Colons winning the tag titles because one of the champs had a Wellness Violation.

Maybe they'll have another title match on Tuesday to switch it back. I think they should have title switches at house shows more often, so fans know that it's actually possible. They probably did it just because it was MSG, which is sacred to Vince.

 

Apparently, AJ Styles vs Kevin Owens is now pulled off from the Battleground PPV. Don't know why, perhaps they're adding somebody else to the mix but that's odd to me.

 

Can only be an injury or a wellness violation at this point, right?

 

Was that an optical illusion, or did Alexa Bliss really just dislocate and relocate her own elbow? What in the holy fuckballs was that?

Oh man Kurt Angle sold that like a million bucks. Awesome.

Is that a Roman heel turn too? Sort of?

 

That was cool, then, but still bizarre. I looked away for a minute and looked up to see that and thought we had another "Sid breaks his leg" moment on our hands.

 

Why doesn't someone just hop in the driver's seat and pull the ambulance forward so they can check on Braun? Or pull the damn keys from the engine to see if they have one for the locked door.
And, yes, I liked that. Definitely seemed like a heel turn.

 

Meanwhile, poor Heath Slater gets a win in the world's first televised dark match.

 

Announcers seem to be selling it like a heel turn. This is awesome. Strowmans ridiculous and Angles face as he walked away made it so much better

 

That has to be a turn for Reigns. That's a heel move if ever there was one. If the WWE writers keep him face or even a tweener, they're clueless.

 

Crowd is so hot for both these guys. They did a wonderful job building this thing as a prize fight without a "heel" to hate. And Joes getting some shine even though the end may be inevitable.
