Is there any allegation of wrongdoing or criminality associated with the meeting?

    Any at all?

Or, perhaps, the Russians giving Trump Jr "dirt" on Clinton. Is that not wrongdoing? Receiving useful information from a hostile foreign power that will expect something in return strikes me as highly illegal. I'm open to hearing how I'm wrong.

YF will be along at any moment with a picture of Chelsea Clinton and someone from Russia.

They'd like Congress to approve the money and Mayor Eskridge thinks President Trump could help cut through all the red tape.

"He's gonna cut back on the time it takes to do studies for these projects -- we don't have that time to play with," Eskridge said.

He thinks if Mr. Trump told Congress he wanted to save the island, it would be saved.

    1. Yes, it was wrong. But . . .

    2. Do you REALLY believe a relative of Hillary (or just about any other candidate) would refuse such a meeting?

    3. You mentioned the term "foreign enemy." I'm curious as to why. Is "foreign friend" any different? If the dirt had come from Israel, would that make it better? Remember, today's friend can be tomorrow's enemy, and vice versa.

Ex-Bush ethics lawyer on Trump Jr: 'This borders on treason'

"An ethics lawyer under former President George W. Bush blasted Donald Trump Jr. for meeting with a Russian lawyer who claimed to have compromising information on Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton during the campaign, saying it “borders on treason.”

“This was an effort to get opposition research on an opponent in an American political campaign from the Russians, who were known to be engaged in spying inside the United States,” Richard Painter said Sunday on MSNBC.

“We do not get our opposition research from spies, we do not collaborate with Russian spies, unless we want to be accused of treason.”

Correct. Hilary would have had Sandy Berger do it if he were still around.
