If the Times has this story, imagine how much more Mueller has.

You and folks like @outofplace keep saying things like this.

Somehow, it's fine to accuse Republicans of wanting to push grandma off the cliff, and all kinds of other horrible things, but if you tell the ugly truth about liberals, it's somehow out of bounds.

But, liberals would rather see this boy die, than have his case rock the single payer health care system that refuses to allow him to seek treatment elsewhere.

Liberal rhetoric -- including that of the Black Lives matter movement -- really did lead to violence against cops, and against Republican members of Congress.

And, Democrats like Harry Reid really did want to see us lose a war in order to achieve political gains.

Yes, all of this is shameful. But, it's not the act of pointing it out that's shameful.

They probably have the actual email, and not just a description of it, from people familiar with it.

The Wall Begins to Crumble: Notes on Collusion

"Over the past two weeks, two major stories have developed suggesting that there may, after all, have been covert contacts, meetings, and agreements between the Trump campaign and the Russians.

Notably, these stories are not “leaks”—that is, improper disclosures from investigators or congressional overseers. The first story is sourced to an individual involved in the effort that the story describes who independently sought out the Wall Street Journal to tell his tale, along with other non-government sources connected to the matter. The second story is sourced to individuals “briefed on” and “with knowledge” of the relevant material, including “three advisers to the White House,” who described the relevant information to the New York Times. Some of the story is sourced to private defense lawyers communicating with reporters in an effort to help their clients.

And while the stories don’t—yet—show any actual collusive agreement or specific actions, they do show two separate incidents in which the Trump campaign or someone purporting to act on its behalf knowingly sought to engage Russian representatives in order to garner damaging information on Hillary Clinton.

In other words, if the Trump campaign didn’t collude with the Russians, it wasn’t for lack of trying."

    "Malevolence exacerbated by incompetence". Ouch.

The blue wall and conservatives enabling it did far more to inflame anger against cops than any amount of liberal rhetoric.

    You're cherry-picking again. It's a cheap and shameless ploy.

So, the choice is liar or ignorant fool? Is that the gist of it?

I'm not sure those should be the only choices. My bosses didn't know about every meeting I held. Did that make them fools?

The Times reported that Trump appeared angry to learn of the meeting -- not because it took place, but because it fed the "Russia" news cycle.

Should he have known about it? If nothing came of it, I'm not sure why he should have or would have, and it sounds like nothing came of the meeting. No important information was shared. No follow ups were held.

It was a nothing burger. The boss doesn't need to know about nothing burger meetings.

Now, why don't you tell me how come Obama kept learning about big stories at the same time we did, from the media? Was that a sign that he was lying, or that he was an ignorant fool?

I always liked too how the media let him get away with acting all mad, and demanding changes, like he was some outside critic, and not the head of the administration.

It was his son, YF. He knew, the day it happened. Ain't nothing Trumpian that happens that Donny J doesn't know about ahead of time.

Nah. Every report about the Trump campaign talked about how loose it was. Talked about how Trump was not a details guy.

So, we can't now say Trump must have known about it.

Jr. took the meeting because a friend requested it. Why would be bother his father about it until he knew if it would bear fruit?
