I'd say that the odds are very high that Manafort has flipped/will flip. He seems to have been both very greedy and very sloppy over the years, which is a bad combination.

One family trying to run and harness the most complex power in human history would be a tragedy. That it was the Trump family thinking it was the one to do it makes it a comedy.

The more I watch how things are playing out, and the more I think about it, the more I suspect Trump will be president for four years and possibly eight.

And there's the most depressing thing I've read today.

    This defense is hysterical.

The "scale" isn't as great, and while the embassy was involved, that doesn't mean the orders came from the top in Kiev.

Give me a break. The quantity of the illegality matters? Was it just a little bit of collusion? How much is allowed?

And, who does Philip Bump think the embassy work for? What, they were just freelancing on this?

The short-hand version of this story — Russia helped Trump, but Ukraine helped Clinton! — suffers badly from a collapse of scale.

While the Politico story does detail apparent willingness among embassy staffers to help Chalupa and also more broadly documents ways in which Ukrainian officials appeared to prefer Clinton’s candidacy, what’s missing is evidence of a concerted effort driven by Kiev.

I put the odds at very very low that Fucko is president for exactly eight years. There are numerous other possibilities.

If the next three and a half years are like the first six months, I can't see him getting re-elected. Nothing is happening for the people who believed the promises. And for the ones who just wanted a change to go against government as usual, a majority of them have to see what a disaster that road has gone.

And things like this make me believe that if you were on the fence in the election and held your nose to vote for him, the next time you won't
