The problem with rational Republicans in Congress heading into the primaries is that those likely to turn out will be hard-core Trumpers. Others just won't vote, since there is no one rallying the anti-Trump wing of the party. As more people grow dismayed by the WH - the percentage of Trumpers within the party will only increase.
I'm still trying to figure out if the frog in the pot is Trump, the GOP or America.

We're seeing more and more that the Trump plan to MAGA is driven purely by whatever way the wind is blowing, or, he'll let someone else do the heavy lifting and take credit for their efforts.

    Oh, that's definitely true.

It's also the simplest rule of America.

    "They're meddling in our elections!!!"
(never mind that we've meddled in 81 elections worldwide over the past half-century)

"We have to stop their aggression!!!"
(never mind that we've had more military engagements and toppled more regimes over the past quarter century than every other nation combined)

    "They support terrorists!!!"
(never mind that we supported the mujahideen in the 80s, are in bed with the terrorist-loving Saudis and basically created ISIS)

    It's an authoritarian/police state!!!"
(never mind that America has almost as many of its citizens incarcerated as China and Russia combined)

That's undeniably true, especially if you believe that the Russians can't be trusted. That's what you believe, right?

    Will he show, and testify?

So far, he hasn't cooperated with investigators.

Jeez, when they say "lawyer up" that doesn't mean pick the fastest name that comes to mind:

Who is Alan Futerfas, Donald Trump Jr.'s lawyer? - CNNPolitics.com

So DTJ is given an attorney who used to work for an attorney to daddy. Well that is going to turn out well, probably who told JR to release the emails (and shoot himself in the foot.) (shaking head.)

The Jihad-Loving Left Loves Linda Sarsour

"Pandering to radicals of all stripes is only possible if Democrats castigate President Trump and Republicans as a frightening “other” — how else would they be able to justify jumping into bed with such nefarious actors? Bound together by the glue of hatred, Sarsour and Sanders and Obama and Ellison fight next to one another on behalf of the cause. Never mind that Sarsour’s utopia looks nothing like Sanders’s. As long as they have a common enemy, they’ll make alliances of convenience."
