You realize people see countless retweets from people they don't follow, right?

And many of those are "Get a load of this guy" tweets.

Wow, just went to his twitter, it looks like the trumper media is starting with their cnn takedown. He had a few--I did not spend too much time--listed. One was a rape/abortion quote by a cnn reporter, but it turns out she was quoting someone. This was in 2014 or 2015. I wonder if this is the beginning. I read this was the plan, go back into the history, true or not, of reporters and dish it out. This is an incredible event if it goes beyond this guy alone. Unreal.[/QUOTE]

    Fair enough.

But most people don't post stories that came from their "Get a load of this guy" tweets on message boards as if legit stories.

The most feverish fever dream of the TrumpFucks is to hang shit on the Mooslim Neegro. And if in the process you can dump some of it on a feemale neegro too, so much the better.

Thank you, didn't think I'd have to explain that to Stoney.

    This. This 100 times.

Opinion | The GOP’s moral rot is the problem, not Donald Trump Jr.

Let’s dispense with the “Democrats are just as bad” defense. First, I don’t much care; we collectively face a party in charge of virtually the entire federal government and the vast majority of statehouses and governorships. It’s that party’s inner moral rot that must concern us for now. Second, it’s simply not true, and saying so reveals the origin of the problem — a “woe is me” sense of victimhood that grossly exaggerates the opposition’s ills and in turn justifies its own egregious political judgments and rhetoric. If the GOP had not become unhinged about the Clintons, would it have rationalized Trump as the lesser of two evils? Only in the crazed bubble of right-wing hysteria does an ethically challenged, moderate Democrat become a threat to Western civilization and Trump the salvation of America.

    ...

A good chunk of the right "thinking class" wants Trump swamped by Russia. Maybe he will be.

Meanwhile Ted Cruz - who is an asshole, but brilliant - has an amendment in the new health care bill so corrosive and that unhelpful to sick people that major diseases and disabilities might as well function as death tickets. That's what passes for thinking on the right.

(Tho I have this weird hunch Ben Serious Thinker Sasse is playing rope a dope on his pet issue so he can be architect of whatever bill ultimately does pass.)

How does his presence add to the potential seriousness of the Trump Tower gathering?

He's an American citizen. He's been working as a lobbyist for years, and people knew he was working against Russian sanctions.

The presence of Rinat Akhmetshin adds to the potential seriousness of the Trump Tower gathering that is emerging this week as the clearest evidence so far of interactions between Trump campaign officials and Russian interests.

And it underscores how, despite Donald Trump Jr.’s pledge this week to be “transparent,” new details about the encounter continue to become public amid investigations by Congress and a special counsel into alleged collusion between Russia and the Trump campaign.
