Well, I guess he isn't playing this weekend. But have the doubled the guard to the players' locker room?

    A momentary aside:

Today in my town, the remains of a WWII Marine who was killed in action at Tarawa (1943) were repatriated to his home town after they were recently discovered and identified from the battlefield. I didn't know the man's family, I've never served, I wasn't working (I'm a desker these days) or representing any organization, I just wanted to take a little time out of my morning to pay some respects. If anything, I was representing a future he helped build but never got to see.

I did a lot of thinking during the service, and got to wishing that more people took the time to see this in person. More often than not, I approach things from the left, yeah, but that doesn't mean I don't want to see our country prosper. The difference is in the means, and I wish more people would consider it that way. Part of why I am passionate about politics and public affairs is out of a belief that we have serious values that ought to be revered and protected and that, these days, those hard values are being replaced by cheap tokens. Flag pins and Facebook posts and such.

I realize this is something of a word salad and I'm not trying to brag as much as I'm first-drafting (since I'm on the desk, I can't force people to consider my deathless prose anymore), but days like today remind me that the country we want required and requires at the very least deep consideration and effort.

OK, back to your regularly scheduled dung-flinging.

See also - the word "basically" in any sentence. "They basically are choosing who gets to live or die." "He basically said we should go to hell."

Not commenting on this particular site, but you might be surprised how many legit places use WordPress these days.
