JD's milkshake brings all the SJ posters to the yard.

I think I pulled a muscle in my side laughing at that one, MisterC.

And micro, a Linfield game sounds swell.

Good to see and hear from everyone!

JD, it's been great to have you drop back in. I really enjoy a lot of the stories between posters who remember their banter as if it were yesterday.

    Glad you're still doing well.
I assumed you did not heed my warning about Mount Shasta and had been abducted by the survivors of Lemuria, who took you into the mountain and down into the hollow earth to live their crystal city.

It was a close call, Buck. Someday, it'll be a movie.

And thanks, Vombatus. I hope all is well in your world. Yes, a lot of memorable banter here over the years. It's been fun to recall lately. It's also great to see familiar names finding their way to this thread. Batman's roll call video made me laugh.

Good seeing you on here again JD.
Hope you've found some halfway decent Cajun food in the corner.

Thanks for the note, Chef2. There are some terrific places I've found, not to mention a few run by Katrina evacuees who make authentic red beans and rice, catfish, jambalaya and etouffee. One in particular always seems to have The Meters playing at some point during my meal. If I closed my eyes, I'd imagine I were eating in New Orleans.

You imagine someone shooting at you on the interstate and asking "I bet I can tell you where you got them shoes?"
    Tough town.

My favorite sign (at some all night eatery in the Quarter) went something like this:

I know where you got them shoes.
I know where you got that watch.
Only in New Orleans is having a milk crate considered a profession.
