Not necessarily. Obama was a hopeless longshot in 2007. Carter was a super longshot in late 1975, ditto Clinton in late 1991. No candidate can really emerge until after the midterms which define the party's next move.

Misogyny and bigotry hate to be called out for what they are. Trump forced decent people to call it out, resulting in his rallying his base. Well, fuck his base. They are horrible people and deserve the scorn of decent folk.

The Democrats would do well to ditch identity politics in the next cycle. That is the only way to victory.
And if they can't beat an incumbent this abysmal then they ought to fold up shop and take their place in the political graveyard with the Whigs and Know-Nothings.

If you want to get rid of Fucko because you believe it's the right and just and moral thing to do, by all means you should.

But if you think that makes you effete and elitist and pompous and judgmental and a politically-correct SJW, then get rid of Fucko because he's going to fuck you, yes YOU, in the ass (see my post last page).

The guys in the locker room he referenced earlier. We can't risk offending them.

You are smart enough to understand counterbalance.
    That's all this was.
Shaun King has no place in our national conversation, with all the garbage going on in this country.

I see a lot of people saying Democrats should get away from identity politics. Then I see how much African American turnout went down in 2016. Some of that was on conservatives putting up roadblocks w/r/t voting rights but a lot of it was Hillary Clinton trying to relate to blacks in a way that felt like Clark Griswold asking directions in St. Louis. As with most electoral dilemmas, the best answer is to get a better candidate.
