Just as they don't want to talk about the Russians messing with our elections because they know that in 2018, their friends from a former Communist country will be back to keep them in power. This, of course, from the party that bills itself as the only party of patriotism in the U.S. of A.

This one has to be on McConnell and Ryan. Because the Senate bill wasn't even close to reforming the system. It took aim at all the programs like Medicare and Medicaid, and straw dogs like Planned Parenthood the conservatives have had in their sights for years. Real reform has to be a bipartisan effort, but the way Congress is structured nowadays, I don't think that's possible.

 

McConnell wears this one solo. Ryan at least has the fig leaf of "Hey, we passed a bill on our side."

And Fucko couldn't be arsed to lift a finger to arm-twist the Senate as he did on the House vote. Probably because he had bigger things on his plate ... like Russian caviar.

 

I agree that Obamacare was not real reform.

 

He did deputize some of his lesser imps and demons to try and make nice with governors so they wouldn't gum up the works. But a charm offensive from this administration goes over like finding a dead rat in your ice cream.
