    They haven't been able to get to 51 (actually just 50) on this bill yet. How would it help? And if they lose the majority, well...

    Right. The other thing is your body starts to get frustratingly efficient at exercise without burning many calories.

    I'm talking about losing enough weight so that you're in better shape than 95 percent of Americans, not prepping for an iron man. In my experience, that can be achieved with exercise and diet. I used to be about 30 pounds overweight. Ate less, exercised every day -- pushups, mainly -- and drank a lot of water. The pounds came off pretty quick.

    I love how we used the words "take health care from" when talking about insurance.

    If I lose my auto insurance tomorrow, what was "taken" from me? Not my car.
