    Jock itch.

    Goddamn. Never had it before.

    Might need to consult ChefMD.

It doesn't "irk" me (because I take advantage of it), but I am amused how long the lunchtime lines are at fast-food drive-throughs (cars wrapped around the building) when there is usually little or no waiting if you just park the car, get out and go inside the restaurant to place your order.

Chef's remedies always seem to include sharp objects. You may wish to reconsider and try @DocTalk instead. ;)

One time I came upon a Taco Bell drive-thru where you had to take a left turn into it from the parking lot lane. It was backed up, so I waited in the lane until the cars moved up. Once the cars moved up and I was about to make my turn, some car came out of nowhere from the other side to get in, cutting in front of me.
I then said 'screw it,' turned the other way into a parking space, went inside, made my order, got my food in five minutes, got in my car to depart. As I entered the main road, I saw the drive-thru, and the person who cut in front of me was still third in line. My only regret was that I couldn't drive right by that car and give the driver the finger.

My favorite thing is seeing a McDonalds drive thru line that has cars blocking traffic. And the drive way is deep enough to handle 8 to 10 cars who are waiting to order and another 7 to 8 at some post order position (waiting to pay/waiting for food). I have sometimes walked in and ordered and still have people waiting to order by the time I leave. I often wonder how lazy do you have to be to not do a minimal amount of physical activity that you are willing to waste more time sitting in a car burning your gas.

I hope you at least gave the line-cutter the horn when he/she pulled that complete d#ck move.

On the occasions when I ditch the drive thru to go inside, it usually turns out there's a huge line outside because the staff has left their brains under the same heat lamps as the burgers, and thus no advantage gained.

The service at Chick-fil-A, Cook Out, Steak N Shake, Bojangles and some others is generally excellent. Why would I expect less when that's the standard they've set?

Can't say. Never been to any of those. Been burned by enough McDonalds and Dunkin' Donuts to know they fuck shit up on the regular. Guess I need to branch out.

I eat out every damn day, and I can't remember the last time someone got my order wrong.
Then again, I'm not a snowflake who wants my stuff 32 ways different from what's on the menu.

Visited a Chick-fil-A in Tacoma last weekend around 8 p.m., after the typical dinner hour. Was surprised to see at least 20 cars lined up in the drive thru lane, and out into the strip mall parking area adjacent.

More surprising was how efficiently the inside cashiers took our order and how quickly the food prep line made it. Food was OK, but the service was excellent.
