    He was seated next to PM Abe of Japan, and was expected to talk to him, so he had his Japanese interpreter with him. He then moved to a table with Putin and his translator and stayed there talking for about an hour.

    The difference is, Reagan had Tip O'Neill in the House and a decent relationship across the aisle.

    Trump today doesn't have to cross any aisles at all and still can't get jack shit done. Even with a nuclear option in the Senate. Same thing will happen with tax reform, The Wall, and everything else they want to try to pass in this term.

    Did Trump even do a public appearance speaking exclusively about health care aside from the "victory party?" Did he ever make the case to voters about the need for the legislation? I don't think he even encourages his fans on Fox and Friends to call their Senators and hold them accountable.
