I'll even give you a hint: Per the World Bank, in 2013, the world's worst per-capita offenders (those awful Qatarans) had per capita CO2 emissions of about 40 metric tonnes (the U.S. checked in at 16.4) . So how in the name of hell could scientists estimate that having one fewer child would reduce annual per capita emissions ... by close to 60 metric tonnes?
