Mooch isn't doing the daily press briefings.

Does he look like a guy who can avoid the limelight? Ask it at his next cable news hit.

And, Jared's the biggest leaker of all. Obviously.

Why do you think reporters -- and guys like Morning Joe -- spoke so highly of him? Because he was a source, and they were buttering their bread.

@Dick Whitman, the proper response to that is "touché."

Just being clear. There will be plenty of interviews, just not press conferences.

I saw on Twitter somewhere that the Mooch would talk to business reporters like this all the time and they just wouldn't run it.

    Welcome to politics, sunshine.

That being said, I'm curious whether Lizza worried about burning his source. The quotes probably make it worth it, only because they're so nuts. But I wonder if there was still much of a wrestle.

Meanwhile, the Senate seems poised to pass skinny repeal, a disastrous plan they explicitly don't want, because the House promises not to pass it and then they can get one more shot at a broad ranging deal when the two houses negotiate.

    That's not terrifying or anything

I can't wait till Trump and Mooch have the all but inevitable falling out. Once they start taking digs at each other in the press and one of them lands a blow that really hurts... Boy, this is going to be fun!

Last I heard there was some serious backpedaling going on. McCain and Lindsey Graham have noticed that Ryan keeps weasel wording and not making a hard promise not to take Skinny Repeal to a House vote and plop it on Trump's desk.
