President Trump: The NEW one and only politics thread

Remarkable drama. Only minutes before the scheduled vote, two Democratic Senators said they thought the Turtle had the votes to get his nominal win.
So to recap the day for Trump the Great:
His comms secretary, who thinks of himself as Chief of Staff, profanely chews out said Chief of Staff in moment that nearly breaks down Twitter.
The Senate voted 98-2, following a 416-3 vote in the House, to rebuke Trump's love of Russia. He now has a choice: eat humble pie by signing or suffer an even greater humiliation when both houses override him.
He loses his bid to replace a bad bill with a worse bill that would have taken health insurance from millions and given a tax break to those who don't need it.

 

I'm sure their ideas would start with "suck a truckload of dicks."

 

Now Ted Cruz is making stank faces on teevee! This is progressive Mardi Gras.

 

I hate that I actually thought Graham would be a stand up guy; he called the skinny repeal a "fraud" then voted for it; all due credit to not only McCain but also Sens Murkowski and Collins

 

Ted Cruz whining is the best whining.

 

My bit from earlier tonight was totally unoriginal but it sure is fun. That was a legitimate face turn by the senator from Arizona.
