Yeah, once they explained to him who Pierce was, he'd surely be really pissed

He wrote for the National Mr. President.

He's on "Wait, wait, don't tell me."

    He writes for Esquire.

He used to pose on SportsJournalists.com, and the members their think very highly of him.

Dude, he picked a fight with freakin' Rosie. Hell, if an aide showed this thread to Trump, he'd get pissed.

Yeah. Pierce is totally as famous as Rosie.

Rosie is/was on TV. Trump watches TV, as do lots of other people.

Pierce is in magazines and on NPR.

Who cares what he thinks? Pierce stopped writing for anything but a far left audience a long time ago.

    Don't need any.

It's not enough for someone to do something we think they should do. We must see them suffer for it to really count.

I think that was the same vote newspaper publishers had a few years ago about whether giving the product away for free online was a good idea.

There's no nobility in being a lemming.

I imagine there's probably a W.H. staffer on the "Charles Pierce" desk whose sole job is to curate his work.

It took me a minute to realize you didn't mean our Rosie. I totally think she should go on TV and ground Trump.

Trump doesn't read, as most of his supporters.

Duterte, enter stage right. Now it's getting good.

    Yes. That's my point.

He would have no idea who Charlie Pierce was, as opposed to Rosie who's on TV.

Speaks to his lack of intellectual curiosity.
