People who hate Trump should be ecstatic he is doing nothing. If you don't get that, I can't help undensify you, bud.

 

What year do you think they'll pass the legislation making today a national holiday?

 

There's like 20 for this particular occasion.

 

I'm pretty sure those folks are ecstatic not to have you as a neighbor.

 

Undensify should immediately be entered into the sj lexicon.

 

We keep fighting about who's president, for 25 years now, and allowing ourselves to be polarized over that when the real problem is a Congress that insists on being polarized, and actively working to become ever more polarized, instead of working together to cultivate some common ground and build from that. It's democracy at its ugliest.

 

Remember when Obama was wishy washy on abortion while comfortably winning twice?

Saw this on Twitter, attached to a story I didn't really care about. The mind wanders as to what this conversation could have been about, but man, look how small that hand is.

 

"Intersectionality" is a big buzzword in activism these days but it's built on the very tenuous premise that one can be motivated to fight for something on "home turf," so to speak, even when it isn't, which seems rather hard to support. I'm a straight white male. I support equality for women, the LGBT community and minorities, but I can't be anywhere near as effective on the "front lines" of that discussion as people who are living those issues first hand.

 

That's a long line to wait in.
