You still have to eat the food for it to affect you. Just being around smokers can cause damage.

Children fed fatty foods don't have a choice. It's essentially the same as second-hand smoke.

 

I'm not defending tobacco at all. I'd make it illegal. It's a killer with no redeeming qualities.

Instead, our government had become partners with the industry, and they both target the poor for profit.

But, you made a joke about "second hand fat". I'd wager obese parents cause more harm to their kids than parents who smoke. (Not including any damage a smoking, pregnant mother might do.)
