The most rational response was the one saying that we should be addressing both problems.

I was right. He does blame obese kids for their choices.

Wrong again, YF, but that never stops you.

I'm still waiting for you to present evidence to support your claims above. Nothing from Twitter yet?

One, that doesn't prove his point. Two, let's see YF support his own argument. Three, I'm also still waiting for you to admit your initial fuck-up, but I should know better.

Mom: "Look Johnny, Dad brought home McDonalds for dinner tonight."

Johnny: "Excuse me, mother and father. I've been eating fast food far too much lately. I need to make a healthier choice. Do you have any boiled chicken breast and steamed broccoli?"

Snark apparently thinks stating the same argument 10 different ways makes it a better argument. Snark is wrong, but it's mildly entertaining to watch him try.

So you're saying the difference is that kids can choose starvation?

Little kids can either: 1) eat what their parents select to feed them; or 2) don't eat at all. So, yes, it IS essentially equivalent to "forcing the cookies down the kid's throat." It's every bit as much of a no-choice thing as being exposed to second hand smoke, perhaps arguably even more so (one can walk away from cigarette smoke, but not eating is no option).

So kids in a room or a car with their parents are just going to leave? You're funny.

Y'all really are desperate. It's entertaining.
