What makes the opiod crisis so bad is it isn't like some shady dude on the corner is giving the first one free to a kid. It's doctors telling their patients -Take this.

And of course, NK is going to answer back with an equally bellicose quote. What happens when Trump talks like this but nothing happens? He's going to wind up painting himself into a corner the way that Obama did talking about red lines in Syria.

"There's no difference between the candidates", they said. Riiiight.

It's anything but the first time. Truman is recorded saying he will drop more bombs on Japan and I believe Eisenhower threatened the same. I can't immediately find if other presidents overtly stated the use of nuclear weapons.
